CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) needs to get his priorities straight. For the past month or so, he and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have been seeing each other again. Seeing, as in, doing it everywhere around town. Nick is quick to want to make it a relationship, whereas Phyllis doesn’t want to put a label on it. Nick sunk low trying to make it a “relationship” today and I didn’t think much of him for doing it.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has been going through a lot lately. Not only has she been dealing with breast cancer and chemotherapy, but it turns out the chemo hasn’t worked as well as she was hoping. The next step from here is surgery. This is terrible news for Sharon and her friends and family around her, but Nick is willing to use this as an example to get in a relationship with Phyllis. Smooth.

Phyllis wasn’t too receptive to the idea of being tied down though. In fact, she told Nick that they don’t need to put a label on what they have right now. That’s “what the kids do”. Nick is noticeably upset with the outcome and thought that they had talked about this. He assumed they were “together” and “in a relationship”, however, Phyllis doesn’t seem too excited about it.

Good, Nick doesn’t need to waste any more time trying to pursue her for the hundredth round of their relationship. Using Sharon’s situation as a reason to be together is just low. Even though Nick tried to say it in a good way, “makes us realize what’s really important”, blah blah blah, it’s just lame. Don’t use your ex’s cancer as a reason to get back with your other ex. What do you think? Did Nick sink low for this? Let us know in the comments below.
