TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: ‘Before The 90 Days’ is saying okay, we are sorry but we are really having a problem with Stephanie Matto’s girlfriend, Erika, on Before the 90 days. After dragging her to get an artisanal mold made of her breasts for their second date ever, for their third date, Stepanka planned it. And she wanted to take Erika out to a nice dinner, and she even gave her a little tiara to make her feel like a princess. I thought this was absolutely adorable and totally in keeping with the tone of their relationship. It was the way Stepanka wanted to treat her and wanted her to feel, like a princess! And the tiara looked great on her pink and purple ‘do.

So they were sitting down, enjoying their meal, or at least about to, when Steph brought up the fact that a long-distance relationship was not really working for her and that Erika needed to start thinking about moving to the US right away. Of course, Erika wasn’t really open to this because her life is literally in Australia. She is a photographer and does weddings for a living and right now she probably has several booked. She didn’t think that she would be an issue when she agreed to meet with the girl that she had thought about spending the rest of her life with. Okay, professionally, I can see Erika’s point. She is not established in the U.S. and could not work in the US for up to 2 years when she migrates here which would only handicap her. Photography can be a lucrative business, I get it.

Then Stephanie made the observation that the other day while Erika Owens was showing her something on her phone that she saw that Erika still had a dating app on her phone. Stephanie politely asked if she would mind deleting the app, Erika insisted that she didn’t use the app for actually dating but rather to dig up professional contacts. Which… okay I honestly don’t understand that response, I do not understand which dating app out there is used for professional purposes but please feel free to educate me about that because that would be an interesting app indeed.

Again, Stephanie politely asked if she would mind deleting the app, then Erika whipped out her phone and promptly deleted it in such a way that let everyone know that she was pissed. As she was deleting it she even went so far as to say “If you’re not going to trust me, I don’t see how this is going to work.” Steph said that she didn’t feel comfortable, and then the other shoe dropped, Erica practically shrieked, “You don’t feel comfortable with anything!” and then proceeded to chew Stephanie out

Call me old fashioned but once you have established that you’re in a relationship, then I’m with Steph, I don’t see the big deal in deleting a dating app off your phone. Professional contacts can be made on other forms of social media, instagram, linked in, facebook, twitter, there are a lot of ways to reach out to people besides a dating app. But Erika was really catty about the whole mess and said that because Stephanie was demanding it, that’s why she was doing it. Stephanie was in no way demanding, her tone was calm when she asked the question, and she asked politely. A demand looks a lot different, Erika, maybe you need to look up the correct definition.

Erika then proceeded to throw Stephanie’s gift back in her face and tell her that she felt like that Steph was trying to basically buy favor with her and then she took the tiara off, slammed it down on the table and told Steph that she was not her princess and walked out. Granted, Steph was the one who told her that the date was over after she made a big deal out of deleting the dating app. The thing is, unlike Usman who makes his living being in the public eye, or even Stepanka who is a social media star, Erika is a photographer. Like I said before there are a lot more ways via social media to reach out to potential clients than dating apps. From just the way it looks tonight, Steph and Erika’s relationship isn’t long for this world, but Ed and Rose bounced back from a far worse fight, so I guess time will tell. Stay tuned!!!
