CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that there’s an old southern saying that what goes over the devil’s back always comes up under his belly, and that saying would certainly apply to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). We’ve watched for months as he’s schemed and manipulated everyone in his path, including his own son, just… for what, so he could get into the pants of a woman who had zero interest in him? Basically, yes. Well, we may have thought that Thomas was going to just get away with being brought down at his own wedding, but no, there’s more pain and humiliation in store for Thomas, and this time it’s going to hurt extra deep because this time, it may come in the form of his own son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).

You would think that a loving Father, no matter how sociopathic, would spare his own son the grief of being manipulated by him. But Thomas was no respecter of persons, not even his own, sweet, vulnerable, four-year-old son was exempt from Thomas’s dirty dealings. Thomas would often employ Douglas in his schemes, and when Douglas acted out there was hell to pay, I can just look how mad he got when Douglas outed Beth Spencer’s (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) identity to everyone, he acted like little Douglas was the villain when Douglas was simply being a child and telling the absolute truth.

Now it’s Douglas’s turn for revenge on Daddy. I’m not saying that little Douglas is not above being manipulated by Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) anymore because he’s still a child, but what if he decided to turn the tables on Thomas and beat him at his own game? I’m not sure how he would do this because he is a four-year-old child right now, but it seems that Douglas is going to start showing pretty soon that he is his Father’s son and when he does? Thomas is going to know that he was the one that messed up, not Douglas.

I hope that Thomas has been working really hard lately because a good chunk of that hard-earned money of his is going to have to go towards therapy to try and undo what he’s done. There will be no way that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will let little Douglas suffer in the wake of the misery that Thomas has caused. Good thing too, because we all want little Douglas to grow up healthy and happy, and to continue being the sweet little boy that he is. As for Thomas… he can just keep on practicing that social distancing… from everyone. Stay tuned!!!
