CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that as we all know, lots of schools have shut down and this has temporarily forced a lot of parents to homeschool their children. I’m pretty sure that in the B&B universe this is no different and that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) has just been tossed in the deep end. Maybe, just maybe, little Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) preschool has online classes and is set up for such a thing so that will give Hope a bit of a break from actually trying to teach little Douglas herself. They could at least be nice enough to provide the materials so as to save Hope from entire hours of singing ‘Baby Shark’ over and over until her head explodes.
She may come to regret taking Douglas away from Thomas in the coming weeks because even though Thomas was busy scheming and scamming and basically trying to worm his way into her heart, Thomas was a pretty attentive parent. Douglas has also been used to being an only child up until this point even when Hope found little Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) again he stayed with Thomas, or with Amelia, his Nanny, or with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye)
CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: How is little Douglas handling homeschool? And other thoughts about Hope’s new blended family
So now that Hope has two children on her plate and barely enough experience as a Mom to fully give to one, what’s going to happen? I can only hope that Liam is ready to step up and fill in the gaps because trust me man, little Douglas is going to get very bored, very soon. There’s only so many times the family can sit around and watch Frozen 2 before someone bursts into tears… and this time it won’t even be Beth.
If we know Thomas, now that he’s been humiliated he is going to go off the grid for awhile and Hope may be unable to contact him so she’s going to be left all by her lonesome with Liam, their daughter, and little Douglas. Douglas is old enough and aware enough to want his same routine every day, it won’t be like Beth who is, at this stage, still pretty adaptable in terms of daily routine. He may even miss school and he may get bored with homeschooling. Since everything in California is on lockdown right now this is literally going to mean hours and hours of interacting with this kid. Which is going to be great for family bonding, but it may be exceedingly stressful now that there are literally no distractions.
Meanwhile, Thomas may be off literally and figuratively twirling his mustache. He’ll be off in isolation doing what he wants to do, while Hope and Liam are saddled with his kid and their own, and if Steffy Forrester (Jacquelin MacInnes Wood) wants to dump her daughter in on them as well (although let’s face it, she won’t do that, Steffy’s a good Mom.) then she can and it’ll be three kids. One day, I’m sure Hope will be ready to parent three children, but I’m not sure that she’s ready quite yet. Hope just may have her work cut out for her with this new, blended family of hers. Stay tuned!!!
