CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, April 1 finds that just when it appeared things were making sense in Genoa City, we’re thrown a curveball and CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers are here to spoil a few things.

First up, it looks like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Disease, er, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and taking a long look at things, specifically their relationship. While they were becoming close, Summer Newman (Hunter King) decided she needed to interfere to save her the aggravation of them being together again.

Because of her, they’ve gotten into a deep conversation about what to do. Like any good disease, Phyllis doesn’t want their relationship to end, but Nick appears to want to do what Summer wants. Who will win?

CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers believe Nick will finally start to refuse the disease and become his own man to some degree. Nick may not like it, but it looks like Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s words about being someone’s lapdog took root, and this may his way of proving to himself Billy’s assessment isn’t right. We’ll ignore that fact Nick isn’t breaking away from Victor Newman (Eric Braden) and probably never will. Yay for small victories? Speaking of victories, it looks like Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) is all set up to make his big move with Lola. But is Lola up for it?

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 1: Not quite as planned

Theo has done an admirable job at weaseling into Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)’s life and taking what was his. Or so her thought. As things turn out, all Theo needed to do was be himself more and work, as evidenced by Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) taking him to his home and having multiple talks with him. Theo even looks like he’s changing his mind about destroying Kyle as he’s being accepted. Well, that could hit a snag. Much as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is being driven in his quest for revenge by his wife, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), Theo could be facing the same issue when his plan to seduce Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) hits a snag.

After her discussion with the aforementioned Kyle and learning that being with Theo didn’t displease him as much as she thought, CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers think she’ll refute his advances because it won’t matter now. Now that her heart’s not into getting even, at least by using Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), this could rock Theo’s world and send him right back to his path of destroying Kyle. Especially after Lola admits she talked to Kyle. Nothing like being so close to having everything, then having it yanked away, is it? Maybe it’s all just an April Fool’s joke? We’d love to hear from you. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
