    Soap opera stars have been taking to social media to voice their disappointment with the status of the daytime dramas. At first, it was only Young and the Restless and now, it is General Hospital. Tristan Rogers, the actor who plays Robert Scorpio on GH and Colin Atkinson on Young and the Restless, took to Twitter to express his opinion about today’s GH versus the mid-80s.

    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Tristan Speaks Out

    Tristan is a wonderful actor and he deserves better material. Not many viewers would disagree with that. However, he hasn’t gotten material to work with for quite some time. He said what most of the fans are thinking—GH of today is not the same as it was in the 80s.

    In the 80s, GH had realistic and exciting storylines. The core characters were used effectively and generally, the fans were happy with the storylines. However, now, the core characters are sometimes sidelined or not shown at all. Many of the viewers are growing sick of it and they are refusing to tune in.

    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Viewers Upset

    Rogers isn’t wrong about the show. Now, many of the dedicated GH fans are upset with how the show is going. They want someone, a new writer, to come in and fix things. The show has improved in 2018, but in Tristan’s opinion, there is more work to be done.

    GH followers expressed their opinion on Wednesday, December 26 when a promo clip was released. The clip did not show Drew (Billy Miller), Julian (William DeVry), or Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), which are all core character to the show.

    Many viewers claimed if Julian and Alexis do not reunite, they will stop watching. It is clear many people feel the same way as Tristan Rogers about GH.
