    CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) rescinded his offer to make Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) the CEO of Newman Enterprises, Adam is getting his revenge. In fact, he is looking to blackmail his father in the hopes that he can finally bring him down once and for all. Here’s what you need to know.

    Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, The Young and the Restless head executive and writer Josh Griffith puts it this way, Adam thought that Victor was finally treating him the same as Nick and Victoria. Adam thinks he is far more qualified than Nick and Victoria to run Newman so he felt betrayed when Victor picked Nick over him. Victor’s decision made Adam feel like he was second best.”

    CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Is Convinced He Has Leverage Over Victor

    ‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers teaser that’s when Adam decides to arrange a meeting with his father to talk things out. But Victor knowing the way that Adam operates, is suspicious. Griffith adds, “Victor has been down this road with Adam many times before so he can sense when Adam is up to his old tricks. Also, Adam was under the impression that he and Adam were on good footing so he’s surprised by Adam’s attitude becoming more antagonistic.”

    Victor eventually decides to meet with Adam and that’s when Adam hands over an envelope, which contains evidence uncovered by Alyssa’s research that Victor is connected with the murder of her father. Needless to say, Victor is shocked, but he isn’t stirred. He knows better and that’s why he’s remaining calm. But at the same time, Adam knows that this is the leverage he needs in order to get what he wants from Victor and eventually, Newman Enterprises. But what he decides to do next will surprise everyone, including his father. Needless to say, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
