CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, March 25 finds that mending and finding new relationships seem to be the topic of the week, and ‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers think it’s a nice change of pace. The fact it’s probably also going to lead to some fun storylines down the road is an added bonus.
The latest pair to join this list happens to be the one that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) spent a good chunk of a previous episode pushing her friend, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), towards. The chosen hunk for Amanda’s affections just happens to be the most eligible billionaire in Genoa City — Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

The pair have already have a history, but we expect there is going to be more to it than that. We got a glimpse of there being something more there when they were talking with the young man, Jared (Michael Maclane).

Amanda reminded Devon and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that Jared would run if pressed too hard, and she was right. Jared had taken that chance to take off before they could call anyone to have him placed in the system. This also lends weight to him not really being 18 like he claimed, but now that he’s in jail, CBS ‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers thinks this is what’ll help Amanda and Devon continue their bonding.
They share a history of being in the system, so it makes sense that they’ll “discover” each other while talking with Jared when they go to speak with him. They both want to help the kid, so things will start flowing between them and before we know it, they’ll be planning for their first date while Jared’s wondering if he’ll drop the soap or if someone will knock it out of his hands.
Okay, that’s a tasteless joke, especially when we expect Devon to bail him out and Amanda to work as his attorney if needed. The chances of things going wrong is high — but then so is everything in a soap opera — and this will most likely lead to Jared being an integral part of their lives going forward. And if he’s not really 18 yet, one of them could serve as a foster parent if one of them downright adopt him.
