CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers finds that it’s been a long road for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Summer Newman (Hunter King), Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). After Kyle and Lola called off their relationship, he landed in the arms of Summer and she landed in the arms of Theo. The unlikely pairing has caused broken hearts and plenty of confusion for each couple. However, as we get closer to Kyle and Lola’s divorce, it seems as though things are heating up for both of the swapped couples. This week in Genoa City, we see the relationships blossom for these twenty-something year old couples.

Kyle is at Jabot with Summer while she is busy a work. They are obviously flirty and enjoying their time together. Kyle notices that their wedding was a year ago today – however, he is currently still technically married to Lola. The thought is unsettling for the couple. However, Kyle states he will talk with Lola to finalize the divorce, so they move on. What a messy situation for the couple.

Kyle isn’t done with his daydreaming yet. He begins telling Summer that he hopes that when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) retires, he will become CEO and make Summer his partner. She jokes, “What if I want to run my own company?” Despite neither of them seems to have the training or credentials for any of this. Kyle responds with the suggestion that Summer will take over Newman and the two can merge the competitor companies. Probably over Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack’s bodies would that happen, but the young couple is enjoying their vision.
On the other side of Genoa City, Theo and Lola are in their kitchen making perogies. Theo compliments Lola on being tough and says that he wants to find someone who feels like home. However, Lola is taking things slow between the two of them. She isn’t ready for a serious relationship amid her pending divorce. Theo receives a document and Lola wonders if he is working on something with Kyle. It looks like there is something brewing in the background there. Back to Kyle and Summer, things are heating up. The two make love amongst rose petals. It seems their relationship is a little fierier than Kyle’s ex-wife’s. What do you think will happen with these young romances?
