CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the cast of your favorite soap had their cast photo recently! Everyone was included in the photo session and was led by the main trio of Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), and Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott)! It was a day where everyone can get together and see cast members they may not regularly interact with! The video they uploaded goes behind the scenes of the photo and interviews some of the cast members.
Bergman recalls his very first day of work on the show, and never thought it would turn into thirty years! Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) describes it as a big family reunion. By his side is Brytni Sarpy (Elena Dawson) and she says, “Can you ask for anything else?” regarding James’ comment.

Melody Thomas Scott is proud that they can still make the show unique enough that people still want to tune in and watch. She also explains that people just love the characters and the actors. Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair) credits the fans to keeping the show on and also describes the cast as a big family.
In the comments below the video, fans of the show say how long they’ve been watching, what the show means to them and what they hope to see. It’s amazing that this show is still going on today and some of these characters have been there since the very early days! Soap operas are multi-generational, bridging gaps and being able to tell lifetimes of stories. Many viewers commented on watching the show with their grandparents when they were still children.
