CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that after their trip to Kansas, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has never felt more confident about her relationship with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). They’ve been on, they’ve been off, they’ve been married, they’ve been divorced, but hey, they’re getting married again. This time though, it’s for good! Chelsea’s friend Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) isn’t so happy about them, however. This has put Chelsea on the defense for Adam.
In Kansas, Adam and Chelsea had a great time and we got to see a different side of Adam. One we rarely see, where he’s more relaxed and calm. Doesn’t have the stress of Newman Enterprises or his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hanging over his shoulders. Plus, he’s a great father to his son. In fact, that’s part of what made Chelsea so happy was seeing them running around and playing. She tells Chloe about how Adam would take him through morning chores, like collecting the hen eggs. Stuff Adam used to do when he was a kid. Chloe doesn’t think that sounds fun, Connor had a great time, however.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chelsea Feels Confident About Her Relationship With Adam – Should She?
Now that they’re back in Genoa City, Adam’s attitude has shifted a bit though. Instead of gunning after Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and the company, his attention has been turned to Victor and a question regarding history. Adam, whether it’s just because he’s focused on something else or legitimately has decided to tone down, seems likable. For the moment! I can understand where Chelsea’s coming from. However, she may be as crazy or crazier than he is!
We get that Chelsea believes this time things are different, and she has to defend Adam to everyone, but maybe she shouldn’t. She’s been down this road many times and it could lead to more trouble. Although, she seems to be the one instigating it! She brought up how she wanted to fight with him for Newman, then in Kansas she brought up Victor being there the same time his friend’s dad died.
