CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has her moments. Last month she was very understanding and kind to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) when she found out about her breast cancer. Recently, she laid the smooth talk on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and seduced him to bed. Now, she says the words, “I apologize!” Oh my goodness, what happened?
Well, she crossed paths with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in the Grand Phoenix and had some words with him. At first, she taunts him a bit and jokes about getting out, she doesn’t want people to think he’s the type of person her hotel attracts. However, once he goes to defend himself from her abuse, she strikes low. So low, that even she immediately feels remorseful.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Apologizes! – Tells Billy That Amanda & Victoria Deserve Better
Phyllis hits below the belt in her insult to Billy. Telling him that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) both deserve better than him. Victoria literally got stabbed in the back because of him. He doesn’t know what to say and starts walking away. As he does Phyllis realizes what she said and immediately says she apologizes.
Billy turns around in shock and asks if she just apologized. They end up talking for a few moments before parting ways but Phyllis had a momentary lapse of goodness when she realized her error. However, she should never have brought it up. It is Phyllis though, what should we expect?
Billy is in a tough spot right now, whether by his own doing or not. It’s amazing that he tried to walk away from this situation with Phyllis. It’s hard to tell what she’s ever going to say, but it’s always especially odd to hear her say she’s sorry. What do you think? Where do these moments of good from Phyllis come from?
