EastEnders spoilers finds that fans were stunned during Friday night’s episode as they saw Whitney Dean continue to struggle behind bars. Whitney has been forced to spend time behind bars as the police are struggling to believe her side of the story surrounding the death of Leo King.
Leo was killed by Whitney in self-defence, as her stalker was threatening to stab her during highly-charged scenes that aired over a month ago. Matters haven’t been made any easier for her, as she is being defended by Gray Atkins, who also isn’t convinced that Whitney is telling the truth.

Viewers were shocked to see Whitney suffer a hand injury while she was behind bars, with the Walford favourite appearing as though the pressure is getting to her. The injury came after the hearing where Whitney was dealt a further blow in her case as police cited inconsistencies in her story.
Gray had earlier managed to persuade Kush Kazemi to plead guilty on his charge, as he admitted that it would help Whitney’s case. However, the lawyer’s plan backfired as police questioned why Whitney didn’t decide to call them after she had killed Leo. Whitney panicked and tried to cover up the death before being forced to talk to the authorities by Mick Carter.

After the hearing, Whitney was forced to go back to her cell, where she began hitting the wall out of anger. She was denied the chance to see her solicitor and then burst into tears when she looked at her hands, which were covered in blood. There promises to be more emotional scenes over the coming weeks for Whitney. It is still unknown whether Whitney will actually be sentenced for the murder of Leo, but the signs are not good. Kush’s gamble backfired and he is now in trouble of facing the same circumstance. Fans will have to continue watching to see how it plays out.
