    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Can We Have A Contract Cast Already?

    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that lately there was a rumor going around that Nadia Bjorlin, former Chloe Lane,  was coming back onto the Salem canvas. I don’t know how true that rumor is but this time they said that she was coming back as contract cast. Which means, this is going to be for more than one or two episodes… but… how long is contract anymore, really? Besides, wasn’t it just a few months ago that we got the news that Chloe wasn’t coming back? Guess that musical she was a part of flopped, eh Chloe? Yike.

    Still, it seems that on this particular soap there seems to be a rash of what used to be called “cameos”. Older characters who could very well be used for larger story arcs are popping in and out like a continuous game of peekaboo. The thing that ticks me off about these appearances is they’re touted in the beginning like we’re going to have a character come in and we’ll have a really great storyline to go with it but so far… they haven’t delivered? Like, for instance how they brought Vivian Alamain (Then played by Robin Strasser) back and literally used her for nothing. Was she just there for target practice for Lani Price (Sal Stowers)? Really, that’s it? A great villainess like Vivian and she was literally wasted during that whole storyline! Okay, I’m a little salty I must admit.

    So why are they bringing back Chloe again? I mean, what purpose would she serve at this point? Is she going to get in between Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk)? After all, at one time she and Brady did have that amazing connection and Brady’s about to go through some major things considering he’s about to find out that his daughter, Rachel Isabella Black is still alive, but that seems like it would push him more towards Kristen. Another thing is she may be coming back because it is rumored that in April, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is slated to return and since Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) may be in jail then she may rekindle her flirtationship with Stefan from last year. You know, once he gets his throat back. (How in the world is he supposed to be coming back again? That’s still a stumper.)

    So how long is contract? Does this mean a permanent fixture or does this mean that she’s only going to be in Salem for a random grocery store scene where she and former bestie Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) fight over the last carton of vegan almond milk? (Almond milk is already vegan, just checking to see if you were paying attention there.) If she’s going to come back, at least give her a decent storyline and don’t string us along. Do better, DOOL. While you’re at it, stay tuned!!!
