CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful ‘ (B&B) spoilers have thought we’ve seen it all, but Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) confronting Thomas Forrester (Mathew Atkinson) was the highlight of the show.
There’s something about seeing a young man grow some hair on his chin that just makes a storyline that much more fun. While there’s no doubt Liam loves Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), the sudden turn around from Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Long) ripping into him and sending him after Thomas is entertaining and has some promise as the comedic storyline of 2020.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Liam is Hope’s unarmored knight
Kinda funny saying this after he’s remained with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) since Thomas arranged their kiss, but Liam is really the only one that can stop Thomas in his tracks. Of course, he’s not doing it the best and easiest way possible. That’d be too simple and he’d lose the headway he’s made with Steffy.

While this it was a good idea by Brooke and Bill to send Liam into battle, whoever’s idea it was for him to confront Thomas must’ve been watching too many teenage fantasy shows on TV. Seriously. For one, and CBS ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers are calling it now, this is a not-so-veiled buildup for a storyline about Liam being stuck between two women he loves (a soap opera staple) aside. For another, and this is probably the biggest one, this will. Not. Work. Seriously (That’s two seriouslys in the same article. B&B are breaking us).
Whoever is writing this must be binge watching teenage fantasy shows or movies. You know, the ones where the lovesick kid has some outrageous fantasy about being a super powered hero that comes to his crush’s aide and she falls all over him for it? Yeah, we’ve all seen those.Getting back on topic, all Liam will succeed in doing is forcing Thomas to dig his heels in and become more determined. The last thing they need is for Thomas to dig in like the tick he is and really get under their skin.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Must’ve been Liam’s idea
Brooke Logan wanted him to get back together with Hope. Bill seemed to agree with her. So this brilliantly schoolyard prank, er, idea has to be Liam’s. It doesn’t help that Liam’s as threatening as a cloudy day. Still, maybe he’ll prove everyone wrong and manage to find a way out of this. Anyone can stumble into the answer for a problem if their luck’s on point. His only hope is that either Bill takes over command of this and sends Liam back to the bench, or Steffy catches wind of this and comes clean about what Thomas did.
Of course, Liam will probably give her huge puppy dog eyes and forgive her, citing her love and devotion to him as all the reason he needs to be with her and leave Hope hanging.At the end of the day, this has to be a compromise Liam made with himself and he’ll rectify that at some point. Maybe, maybe not. It should be interesting in the coming weeks to see just how badly this blows up in his face, kinda like a giant meringue pie. Except not as funny. But CBS ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ spoilers will be here every step of the way to chronicle this disaster.
