CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) texting Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) about her first day of chemotherapy. Today, Nick sat down to have lunch with Phyllis Summers (Michele Stafford) and before she arrived he texted Sharon. He wanted to know how everything went, being the decent guy he is. Almost immediately he got a response from Sharon telling him everything’s fine, she’s fine and has her support group, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).
Does Nick feel like he’s out of the loop with this whole thing? Sure, the other night they had a late-night breakfast with all of them, but with Sharon already keeping Rey and Mariah at arm’s length, it can only feel worse for Nick. Just because they’re not together anymore, doesn’t mean he still doesn’t care for her. It feels like he wants to be closer, but can’t.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Does Nick Feel Out Of The Loop With Sharon’s Cancer?
It’s not easy being the “other guy”. Sharon and Nick shared a wonderful time together and share children. This thing with Rey has started fairly recently, and having Rey to lean on, along with the girls makes Nick not part of the team. Is Sharon scolding him for leaking the information in some part to Phyllis? Or is this just a figment of my imagination?
Perhaps there just isn’t enough room and time to have him be as involved. However, when we saw him text her and Sharon tell him about all the help she has, it may have cut him a bit. I mean, he kinda threw his phone down on the table and gave it a look. What do you think? Does Nick feel like he’s out of the loop with Sharon, or is this our imagination?
