ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that while Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) might be married to Ava Jerome (Maura West) for obvious reasons, there’s a very good chance that he might still be thinking about Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst). As a matter of fact, actor Marcus Coloma recently opened up about working with actress Rebecca Herbst and the ex-couple’s complicated yet possibly also future relationship together. Here’s what he has to say.
Marcus says that working with Rebecca has been nothing but a dream. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the handsome star puts it this way to the publication, “She is just an easy, cute, charming, warm person and I really enjoyed working with her a lot. It felt like a different world for me, that relationship, then the relationship Nikolas has with Jax, with Laura, and it’s such a tribute to the writers and the amazing relationships they have created for each and every character on the show.”

What’s more, Marcus says that he certainly did his homework before his first day on the set and that he did extensive research to make sure that he would give Nikolas Cassadine fans everything they would expect from him, plus more. In addition, he also knows there is so much more to tell when it comes to Nikolas and Liz’s story. In other words, they might not be completely over yet.
The actor further explained, “There is such an amazing history between the two. They have suffered through so many thing, including what I found to be a really rough storyline between Nikolas, Lucky and Elizabeth. I have tasted that a bit, where you have feelings for somebody that you shouldn’t have feelings for and that whole struggle. With Nikolas and Elizabeth, time has gone by and she is still one of his best friends in the world. And doing my first scenes with Becky, I really appreciated and enjoyed the warmth and friendliness and ease that she has about her.”
