Johnny told the publication in a new interview, “I’ve been surprised, after having worked on the set with the cast and crew, finding out how much I have enjoyed it. Once I got on set, it’s really the closest thing to the theater that I have done in front of the camera. It’s been a really thrilling experience.”
Johnny also adds that he was quite nervous simply because there was a whole lot of action for his character but not a lot of dialogue. Lucky for him though, he managed to make some very good friends that have helped him along the way, including actress Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos).
Johnny adds, “Laura’s got such a presence about her. She’s so warm and gracious as a person, but then Carly Corinthos, she’s a strong and intimidating character. I think I flubbed a line at one point, but she was encouraging and patient. It was a great kind of baptism by fire. But since then, it’s just been a joy and exciting to come to work knowing that I get to work with her often, and Maurice Benard [Sonny Corinthos].”
