CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tell us that Michael Muhney will start acting again! Muhney you remember as Nick Newman, and a lot label him as the “definitive” version of the character. It was only a few weeks ago that he had announced he took a needed break from acting. Now, however, he has a new agency and is prepared to catch the acting bug again! His most recent part is as Colin in the short film ‘Sidepiece’. A romantic comedy, short film by Teddy Tenenbaum.
A post he made on Twitter said that he, “Took a step back the last few years. Let my reps go. Wanted/needed facetime with wife and kiddos. Meditated on the bike a lot. Leaned on friends. Found my OG strength. Hired new reps. Fell in love with the work again on my short film. Wish me luck this pilot season. I’m back“.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Alum Michael Muhney Returns To The World Of Acting
It’s said that Muhney signed on with LoveStone Talent Agency. They are a full-service agency representing an array of diverse talent. It seems they’re more geared toward a family-oriented person. While they’re not the biggest agency, it seems more suited to what Muhney wants to achieve.
It seems Muhney has gotten his second wind for acting and we can hope to see him in more projects moving forward. Though it’s unlikely we’ll see him again on ‘The Young and the Restless’, we wish him all the best looking toward the future.
