Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, April 9 reveal reveal Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) didn’t see this coming. Meanwhile, Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) surprises Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Plus, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has a major win. Here’s what you need to know.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, April 9: What??
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) shocks Dimitri. Given another teaser for Friday, April 10, we have a feeling Leo is willing to give their relationship another chance. We can kind of see why, even if we’re not sold on this. Dimitri did save his life, after all. Still, Dimitri clearly expected to have to work a little harder. And he likely will later. It’s possible this decision is partially influenced by that head injury.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, April 9: Are you sure?
Elsewhere, Chanel’s change of heart surprises Johnny. We’re guessing he finally broke the news about the idea of staying on as CEO of DiMera. After all, Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) isn’t interested in the job now. Even though they’ve made a bit of progress with EJ lately, we’re sure he won’t expect her to be okay with something that could bring them even closer.
As for Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) find themselves on opposite sides. This is likely related to the whole thing with Theo’s decision not to stay on at DiMera. She might even find out that Abe basically had a deal with EJ about it. And given what Paulina knows and how she’s reacted to it, she will definitely not like that. We honestly think Abe should have stayed out of the whole thing. While we definitely understand why he’s got issues with the job, it’s not up to Abe to manipulate his son’s decisions behind his back. Nor is it EJ’s.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, April 9: She’s back…
Finally, Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) wakes up. Obviously, this is going to be a huge moment for Theo. Days of Our Lives spoilers hint he’ll likely be torn right now, though. We imagine, at least, he’ll be the one with her when she wakes. Or, at the very least, the first to know. We think EJ will want to keep this quiet for a little longer, which might not sit well with Theo. And we can just imagine all the questions Lexie is going to have.

Because of this big moment, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and EJ revel in victory. While EJ is going to obviously be thrilled to have his sister back and to have fulfilled his father’s wish, Gwen will be 100% focused on the huge windfall that is sure to come from this experiment.
