CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers For January 31 tell us there’s going to be a lot of news spreading! Beginning with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) of all people! It was only a matter of time until she found out about Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) health, although she isn’t quite sure what exactly it is. Yet!
At Sharon’s place, she tells Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) today is the day she gets the port for her chemotherapy. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is there and she thanks him for being quiet about the situation. She has to head out, and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) takes her to the clinic. After she gets down, she has a bandage placed on it. This is how Phyllis begins to put everything together.
Later when they’re at Crimson Lights, Sharon reassures Rey the procedure wasn’t that big of a deal. Things were fine until Phyllis comes in and notices Sharon’s bandage. She asks if she got a tattoo to which Sharon replies quickly, “Yep, I did.” The next hint for Phyllis comes when people come to ask Sharon if she’s doing okay, like Faith and Nick. Nick tells Phyllis Summer there’s nothing going on but Phyllis sees right through it. He advises she leave. Phyllis looks at Sharon and Sharon accuses Nick of telling her. She figured it out, Nick tells her. Hilariously, Nick tells Sharon that deep down, he thinks Phyllis is a good person and won’t tell anyone. Sharon tells him, “Make sure she doesn’t.”

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers For January 31: Phyllis Knows That There’s Something Up With Sharon’s Health & Chance Makes His Choice
Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) has made his decision between two women. We think we knew all along Chance. At the Grand Pheonix, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance flirt over talk about security. Phyllis walks by and purrs, saying last night was amazing. Trying to be a pest to Abby. Chance has to reassure Abby that nothing happened between them last night, she’s just trying to get under her skin. It’s obvious Abby is interested in Chance, but worried Chance is interested in Phyllis. Chance tells Abby, “I want you, Abby.” Afterward, they share a kiss.
CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers For January 31: Phyllis Avoids Conflict With Abby – Leads Abby To Believe There’s Something Wrong
Chance is forced to step outside to take a call. Inside though, Abby snaps at Phyllis telling her Chance has made his choice! Phyllis just walks away. Very unlike Phyllis to ignore conflict. Confused Abby asks her what’s going on. Phyllis tells Abby she won and to leave her alone. Phyllis then goes on to say there’s more important things in the world and begins to tear up. Obviously, this is a concern over Sharon. Although this is exactly how Sharon’s health is going to get around Genoa City.
We see Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman) on a private jet! At first, Tessa is asleep but wakes up to Tanner strumming his guitar. Tessa tells him that the life she’s living right now feels like a fantasy. She can’t believe this is real. They sing a song together, with some pretty intense eye contact throughout. There might still be some leftover feelings. Afterward though, the talk about Tanner’s wife. She’s nothing like Tessa. Tessa tells him he had to find someone who was the opposite of her.
