‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to close the week out in style with our final trip to Fairmont Crest.
We’re going to get some insight into Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom)’s family and Ashley Morgan (Jan Jacob)’s love life.
Ahh, nothing like some juicy drama to close the week out.
After being publicly attacked and embarrassed by her daughter, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) will need some understanding.
Joey is perfect for that as he always knows what to say. In this case, he’ll share his family life.
It’ll be great for Vanessa to know he understands, though we have a feeling his past will be different than we expect.
Meanwhile, Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) and Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) will be concerned with Ashley’s love life.
It’s for good reason too, as it looks like Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso) will be threatened. We suspect the Plasma Ring knows he’s waffling or to simply keep him in line.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, March 13: A perfect family?
This is purely ‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers’ speculation that Joey’s past isn’t the torn and abusive family we expect. At least, not entirely.
A troubled and broken home is the standard for any bad guy in shows. While that could be the case given how he never talks about it, maybe it was too perfect and he had to break away?
It’d make sense that he didn’t like having huge expectations from his parents. Especially after how he understood Isaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe) so well and helped him find himself.
That’s something that feels like it comes from a past where his family was like the Duprees. They could’ve been rich, powerful, and emotionally abusive to him for trying to be himself.
It would answer a lot of questions and be a perfect compliment to Vanessa’s situation. It’d show her no one is perfect and people have to find their own way.
She knows all of that, but this could help her hold onto that.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, March 13: Is Grayson endangering Ashley?
Ashley jumped into things with Grayson without a thought or hesitation. It’s a nice break from her Type A personality and why it didn’t work between her and Derek.
But it’s also a red flag, and Derek and Naomi will be worried about her. They’ll also be happy and hope for the best, but we have a feeling they won’t like Grayson for some reason.
Meanwhile, Grayson will have his own problem as he’ll be threatened. Most likely by the Plasma Ring.
They may be suspicious of him meeting with Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges). Maybe he or Jacob are being watched, and they know about their secret second meeting.
As for the threat, we expect they’ll threaten his mother or Ashley to keep him in line, reminding him what he’ll lose if he betrays them.
If they go this route, Jacob’s cover could be blown and he’s in danger as well.
