‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Stephanie Could Have Left Town Pregnant With Malcom’s Child
Malcom and Stephanie were romantically involved back in the day. The pair were set up by Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) mother, Olivia Winters (Tonya Lee Williams).
The relationship between Malcom and Stephanie was short-lived, but it was clear the two had been intimate.
This means that Stephanie may have become pregnant before leaving Genoa City, but never told anyone who the father was.
A new fan theory circulating on social media teased that Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) could actually be Malcom’s long-lost son with Stephanie.
It would be a juicy, soapy twist that would change everything for Holden. He once shared that his father died of cancer, but he could have been referring to a man who was not his biological father.
If Holden is really Malcom’s child, that would make him and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) half-siblings, as Malcom is Lily’s biological dad.
Holden would also be Nate’s cousin, which would make for some delicious, soapy drama. Now that we think about it, it may be possible that Holden is related to a major character.
After all, if the show wanted to develop Holden’s character further, it would make sense to give him some family connections in Genoa City.
We know Holden has been portrayed as a mysterious character with a dark past involving Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Apparently, he and Audra are responsible for the death of a shady art dealer who was threatening Audra. It’s a part of Holden’s past that he doesn’t care to share with anyone.

It stands to reason that Holden’s lineage may go back to when Malcom and Stephanie were dating. Fans recall that when Holden first arrived in town, he was pretending to be Amy Lewis’s (Valarie Pettiford) son, Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers).
The truth about Holden and Damian’s scheme eventually came out, but Holden remains a fixture in Genoa City, with presumably no family ties.
It may also cause friction between Holden and Devon Winters (Bryton James), considering that Devon is definitely not a fan of Holden. Lily is Malcom’s firstborn child. He may not be too happy to learn that Holden and Lily are related.
The ramifications of Holden’s true parentage being exposed would create several storyline possibilities for months to come.
The details of Holden’s true history are bound to come out. Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) warned Holden about the cost of keeping secrets.
A huge secret may be kept from him for now, but Stephanie may come to GC to reveal the truth about Malcom’s son. Holden.
Shemar Moore and Vivica A. Fox returns to Y&R for a multi-episode arc in April. So far, the reason for their return has been kept mum, which has intrigued viewers, who have presented several working theories about their comeback.
That said, perhaps we’ll soon find out more about Holden. It’s about to get very interesting with Malcom and Stephanie suddenly popping up in town.
