‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re all set for our visit to Fairmont Crest and we have some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Thursday, February 19 is going to be a fun one as lessons will be learned and secrets are outed.
Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) will try to have a pleasant luncheon, most likely with Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis).
It’ll be a pleasant afternoon until Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) decides to make things interesting.
She’ll stir things up, possibly mocking Anita’s hair since that’s the cool new thing, and it’ll lead to an accidental reveal.
We can see Leslie pulling the wig off or even accidently knocking it off. That would do it.
Meanwhile, Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik) is intent on teaching Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) how hard working undercover is. He’s trying to help save Jacob, but it won’t go over that way.
Jacob will be more intent on proving himself, and that will include leaving Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) to cement his alias and protect her.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, February 19: Leslie’s goof
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers aren’t surprised that Leslie will be up to her typical shenanigans again.
After Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) and Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely) backed her down, she’ll want payback.
Leslie would be so much happier if she learned to walk away, but then we’d lose a fun character.
In this case, we expect she’ll interrupt Anita’s lunch and just be her obnoxious self. Anita will give as good as she gets, and that’s when things will get interesting.
We think Leslie will either reach out to touch or brush Anita’s wig and she’ll knock it off.
Just like that, Anita’s dignity and grace will be shattered and Leslie will be responsible. Leslie will be shocked and sorry, but some things just can’t be forgiven.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, February 19: Jacob chooses himself
We have to admit, we didn’t think Jacob would ever be able to put his ambitions ahead of Naomi’s. He’s smart and a fast learned, and Naomi is a great teacher on how to be selfish.
She has no trouble putting her wants, desires, and dreams ahead of anything or anyone else. So is it a surprise that Jacob will do the same to prove himself to his father?
For his part, Elon will attempt to show him how hard working undercover can be when he’ll tell Jacob he has to leave Naomi for now.
It’ll solidify his cover story and protect her. Jacob will have to think over it, but he’ll do it.
Elon will lose another round, but Naomi will get to see how the other side feels. Jacob’s putting his life on the line, but we’re sure she’ll find a way to blame him for it all.
