‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Thursday, February 5 will be an interesting one as we’re going to get some understanding of current storylines.
Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) transferred to Genoa City from LA and he’s leading the investigation to find Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
They’ll set up a trap for Mariah by playing Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks)’s music on all the radio stations.
Along with videos of Abby Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) telling Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark) how much she loves him, they hope something will crack.
Of course, Mariah promised Dominic she’ll die before giving him up again.
Adding to the drama, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will threaten Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
He’s searching for answers and some will come via Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Thursday, February 5: Everyone blames Cane while Victor gets a pass
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised everyone is blaming Cane for what happened.
Afterall, they know Victor’s a sociopath, so why not let him run over everyone and do nothing about it?
Yellow streaks aside, Cane will try to get the truth from Adam, but he won’t hurt him.
And when he returns to the GCAC, he’ll hear Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) tell her she won’t see him or her granddaughter again if she doesn’t give Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) back his company.
Daniel will also reiterate it’s all Cane’s fault.
Meanwhile, Victor will silence his family’s dissent by claiming Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) agreed to his plan. He won’t let Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) talk to her though.
It’ll give everyone pause, especially after Victor told Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to ignore her mother.
This is an engaging storyline. It’s just a shame we all know it’ll end with Victor on top like usual. Fans want a change, but it looks like it’s all copy, paste, repeat.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Thursday, February 5: Mariah won’t give up ‘Bowie’
With Burrow making his new home in Genoa City and helping plan to trap Mariah and get Dominic back, there’s hope. He’ll even give a nod to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Of course, there’s a twist they don’t know about.
Mariah will go deeper into her psychosis and while Dominic is sleeping, she’ll explain how they were forced apart.
She’ll promise they won’t ever be separated again, going so far as to pledge that she’ll die before she lets him be taken again.
