Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, January 28 reveal Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and company have a plan. Meanwhile, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is about to get some bad advice. Plus, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) has more bad news to break. Here’s what you need to know.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, January 28: Plans unraveling?
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal a possible issue. See, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), and Steve finalize a plan to catch the stalker. This might not go well. As we mentioned elsewhere, Steve slipped. There’s a bug. So, whatever plan the group goes over is being heard by the stalker. Or at least someone working with the stalker. So, unless we can some big twist where this is a trap, their plan will fail. Given we know Stephanie will get abducted at some point soon, it’s basically guaranteed.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, January 28: Sabotage
Elsewhere, Johnny recently mentioned Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) book to Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews). Theo is all for it, as long as the editors think it can sell. But it seems Johnny is still torn. He decided to get some advice from Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow). This will be his biggest mistake ever. We’re pretty sure Bonnie’s book is a fail and she and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) are banking on DiMera getting a huge black eye from publishing it.
Kate is really sinking low here, and we have a feeling this is going to lead to nothing but problems for her in the future. There are too many people who’ll be angry with her for leading Johnny astray. Especially Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). We hope this move is worth it to her, because it might cost her everything.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, January 28: Bad news
Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal more bad news. Once again Rafe is the messenger. This time, he delivers disturbing news to Abe Carver (James Reynolds). It’ll be about how Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop) was likely paid to help abduct Theo. That will really hit Abe hard, given how he’s been trying so hard to help Liam and get him on track.
We can’t help but wonder, however, if this is a red herring. It wouldn’t be the first time someone in this show or others framed someone for their own crime.
