‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers report that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) made a significant move with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) last week and took over Newman Enterprises after decimating Victor Newman’s (Eric Braden) company from the inside out with Cane’s AI software.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Cane Tried to Warn Phyllis of the Potential Consequences
Y&R fans know that Victor never stays down for long. The Newman family sticks together. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are already strategizing on how to come back from the attack on their family.

Victoria went to visit Cane on his train to make sure they knew the Newmans weren’t about to give up on her father’s legacy, and she meant business.
Phyllis may be in for a world of hurt when Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) tells his “super girl” about her mom’s latest stunt, she decides Phyllis has finally gone too far.
Cane even tried to warn Phyllis that her daughter, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), might disown her when she learns of her mother’s latest disaster.

Cane obviously knows from personal experience how painful it is when his children stop talking to him and write him off.
He wants to make sure that Phyllis understands exactly what she’s getting herself into. There may be unintended consequences she hasn’t thought through.
Summer and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Grazadei) have forgiven Phyllis for so many indiscretions, including her faking her death.
However, it’s hard to see Phyllis getting Summer to understand why she chose money and power over her own family. Phyllis is constantly making selfish, impulsive decisions that affect her kids as well.
We know that Victor isn’t going to take this lying down, and Nick already assured Phyllis that he was going to “grind her to dust” and take pleasure in doing so.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Nick’s Threats Foreshadowed Majorly Catastrophic Family Fallout
Victor is about to eviscerate Cane and Phyllis for what they’ve done. However, Cane has good reason to seek revenge against Victor, since he destroyed Arabesque first.
Phyllis was so dismissive of Nick’s threats that it seemed to foreshadow major family fallout. Plus, if Phyllis had never stolen the AI program in the first place, no one would be in the position they are in.
Of course, Phyllis could always counterattack Victor and inform Summer that her grandfather was going to come after Jabot, which could have had a direct impact on her company, Marchetti.
It’s time for Summer to return from Italy. She’s been away from Genoa City for far too long, and there is a lot of drama with her family right now.

Summer is needed on the canvas. Nick has been trying to convince Summer to come home now that her brother, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), is back in town.
If Summer arrives in Genoa City among all this chaos, she may give Phyllis an ultimatum. She’ll cut ties with her mother if she doesn’t back out of this Newman takeover. It would provide Phyllis something to consider.
We have to wonder whether a face-to-face conversation between Phyllis and Summer is overdue. Phyllis may find that she’s crossed a line she won’t come back from so easily.
