‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to celebrate Martin Luther King day with the cast of our favorite soap.
There will always be naysayers, but to us, ‘Beyond the Gates’ is the best written and entertaining soap on at the moment.
They have good pacing and give us interesting and diverse characters that make the hour a day fly by.
On the special episode for Monday, January 19, Tamara Tunie (Anita Dupree) and Clifton Davis (Vernon Dupree) will host a cast tell all.
We’ll get to hear their favorite storylines as they expose all the secrets and lies told throughout the show’s first season.
We’ll revisit our favorite wild child as Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely) shot up Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings)’s wedding in the early episodes.
We’ll hear how Trisha Mann-Grant (Leslie Thomas) is having a great time with her storyline looking to prove her worth after ruining Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) and Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix)’s storybook wedding.
And we can’t forget Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) and Vernon’s storyline that could’ve destroyed the Dupree family.
It showed how mob-like they are to keep secrets hidden by relying on Bill and Joey Armstrong (Jon Linstrom) to take care of their problems.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers love how the show started fast with Bill and Hayley’s wedding.
The stage was set with Bill cheating on and divorcing Dani to marry Hayley. Dani didn’t take it well and she attempted to shoot her ex, his wife, or both.
They hit the ground running and grabbed our attention and haven’t let go since.
The fun storylines continued as we had hints of Martin’s secret dropped, but first, Leslie has to make her mark.

It feel right to look at Ted and Nicole’s marriage as the Titanic and Leslie as the iceberg.
Leslie maneuvered Ted into accepting their daughter, whom he didn’t know existed, while she planned to shatter his world.
Outing her twenty year old affair and daughter at Nicole’s big day was perfect. It made Leslie enemy number one from day one.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Monday, January 19: Racism and hit list
The main storyline tease early on was Martin’s past and the secret he kept. A couple of years earlier, he and Vernon suffered a flat tire and ran across racist brothers.
Martin defended Vernon and killed one, and they buried the crime.
When the surviving brother came back wanting to be paid off again, Bill and Joey saw to it he was eliminated.
It showed a part of the family that, while Vernon abhors violence, he is still similar to a godfather with Bill as his consigliere and Joey as Bill’s muscle.
That secret could’ve destroyed the whole family, and still might depending on what the writers have planned.
