‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to close the week out with our last visit to Fairmont Crest.
The episode for Friday, January 16 looks like it’ll be another round of test results for the kiddies. We doubt things will go smoothly for some, and it won’t be because of the results.
Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) will have her results back and she’s going to share her news with the family.
This could go either way, but since it’s considered major we think she won’t have the gene.
We’re going against type on this, but the spoilers make it feel like it’s too obvious she’d have the gene.
As for Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit), she’s going to feel pressured by Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges). It’s nothing new as she’s looked for every reason to be angry with him the last few months.
This makes us wonder if she has the gene as she’ll be able to use it as vindication for not wanting to get pregnant.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers are ready to be proven wrong, but we think Chelsea’s test will come back negative.
It’ll be one less thing for her and the family to stress over so they can keep focusing on Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie).
It’ll also help calm Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely) some as she won’t be nearly as worried about her.
She can then focus on Anita, but also on herself and any possible treatments to prevent the gene from triggering cancer.
Then there’s her other daughter, Naomi.

We’re used to Naomi finding any and every reason to torment Jacob. No matter what he says or does, she twists it into her being forced to do something she doesn’t want to.
We’re curious what he’ll say this time, but it’ll probably be something along the line of the future.
She’ll take that as him wanting kids, and if she tests positive for the gene she’ll point at why she is right.
Even if it comes back negative, she’ll point out how could she risk passing the gene onto their children.
When Jacob tries to comfort her, she’ll feel like he’s pressuring her in some way.
It’s good they’ve been going to couple’s therapy, but she really needs to look into some for herself.
It sounds like she wants children, but is too scared to do so. She could be using her desire not to have children as an excuse.
After all, she saw what happened with her parents, she won’t want to have a child around when she forced Jacob to leave her.
