‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re all set for our trip to Fairmont Crest and we have some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s going to be some fun moments in the episode for Wednesday, January 13 as we dive into life outside of the Duprees for a little bit.
It looks like Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) will have a legal issue he’ll want to talk with Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) about.
This has us wondering, and we think it’ll be about Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli). Most likely, to make her the beneficiary of his will or a legal partner in his business.
Maybe even Bill running for office while Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) will continue her plan to poison Bill.
Meanwhile, the new bane of Joey’s existence will be in the midst of her love affair. Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) will surprise Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) and not in a good way.
We think they’ll get to talking about her not messing with Joey. She’ll take Marcel’s gun and warn him he needs to get to know her better instead of underestimate her.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers are curious what Joey will have in mind when he sits down to talk with Bill.
We’d love to say he’s making Vanessa his beneficiary or partner, but we have a feeling it’s something else.
We think he’ll want to talk about Bill running for office again. He’ll make a good pitch, but Hayley will interrupt with some more of her herbal tea.
This will get interesting is Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) told Bill about her plan and he refuses to drink her ‘poison’ or if he’ll just brush her off.
We’re surprised Hayley doesn’t want him to be a Congressman with all the added power. Her shortsightedness will be her undoing.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Wednesday, January 13: Leslie schools Marcel
Speaking of shortsightedness, Leslie’s playing with fire and she doesn’t realize it. At least, we don’t think she does.
She knows about Joey to a point, but she doesn’t know Marcel works for him. No one does. So, when Marcel tries to warn her away from messing with him, she should listen.
Instead, we expect she’ll do her normal thing and puff herself up as being far smarter and scarier.
The fact she’ll have Marcel’s weapon when she warns him that he should know her better won’t help. If anything, it’ll give him reason to dig in even more into her past.
This is a fun chess match and we can’t wait to see how it all plays out.
