‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) may soon jump to the wrong conclusion.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Tracy Suspects Chase May Have Blabbed the Secret
She recently figured out that someone overheard her and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) talking about perjuring themselves during Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial.
Tracy assumed it was someone who lived in her house and thought it might even be Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) hubby, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Chase has been Willow’s second biggest champion, aside from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and even put his own career as a cop in jeopardy to prove her innocence.
Of course, fans know that Willow is a lot of things, but innocent isn’t one of them. She shot her husband, Drew, and lied on the stand in court.
Willow had stolen Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun to do the deed and, stupidly, left the weapon in her room, where she was staying at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) house.
While Tracy isn’t 100 percent sure who blabbed to Willow’s attorney, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), about the details of her private conversation with Michael, she suspects a family member betrayed her.
Yes, Chase did defend Willow and went rogue to help his ex-girlfriend, but he wasn’t actually around when Michael and Tracy were discussing the case.
Fans know that Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) was the messenger. He typed a letter to Alexis and had someone give it to her. Martin was eavesdropping outside the Quartermaine mansion when he hit paydirt.
Tracy was blindsided when Alexis tricked her on the stand. Alexis was just doing her job, and she has no idea that Willow is truly guilty, at least not yet.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Tracy Or Brook Lynn May Recall Martin’s Presence on the Property
That said, Tracy spoke to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) about it, and she told her that if it was Chase who betrayed the family, then heaven help him.
We can see Brook Lynn put in a position to defend her man. Brook Lynn isn’t exactly thrilled about what Chase did, but she still supports her husband.
Brook Lynn knows that if Chase didn’t really believe in Willow’s innocence, he wouldn’t have gone out of his way to try to help her.
Say what you will about his misguided devotion to Willow, Chase is a good man. It was one of the reasons why Brook Lynn was so attracted to him in the first place.
Brook Lynn may need to have a conversation with Chase before she can tell Tracy she’s entirely positive he’s not the rat.
Once Brook Lynn and Chase make that clear to Tracy, she may realize that Chase isn’t her culprit. She may start to wonder who could have been on the property at the time, and realize it was Martin.
When Tracy discovers it was Martin, she’ll go bananas. Tracy and Martin don’t have the greatest relationship, even under the best of circumstances.
Plus, Martin is team Drew, and he would be the most likely person to expose Tracy and Michael’s secret to Alexis.
That said, Brook Lynn, in an effort to show Tracy that Chase isn’t to blame, may do a little sleuthing and uncover the truth. Whatever the case, Martin had better watch his back because Tracy will be out for blood.
