‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for our visit to Fairmont Crest and we have some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Tuesday, January 6 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie)’s cancer news spreads.
Since Anita will have an unexpected visitor turning things tense, we thought of Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) right away.
It makes sense as she’ll want to offer her best before she starts going on about Anita changing her life in the condescending way she does.
If we’re right, it’ll be a fun scene, but not the time for it.
Meanwhile, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) will be upset and run to Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom). He’ll think someone hurt her, but it may be the news about Anita.
She’ll have a request for Joey, and we think that’ll be to fund the free clinic with Leslie. We think Joey might’ve been leaning that way, but this will push him over the edge.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Tuesday, January 6: Anita’s second problem
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers are trying to avoid lessoning Anita’s issue, so we’re going to call Leslie Anita’s bane. Disease? Pretty much any term would work.
Whatever we call her, we expect she’ll stop by the Duprees to cause her special kind of headache.
Sure, Leslie does have a heart and she’ll wish Anita well, but she’ll be herself.
She’ll praise Anita and with her the best, and in the same breath she’ll go on about herself. She’ll be so grateful for the new life Anita gave her and go on about how she wishes she could’ve met her mom and so on.
It’s not so much what Leslie says that causes the headaches, but how she says it. She puts so much drama into the right words, we love to see her work and rile everyone up.
As for Anita, she may want new security or an attack dog going forward. Even on her best behavior, Leslie will cause her great amounts of stress and Anita doesn’t need that.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Tuesday, January 6: Comforting Vanessa
This is going to be another good, heartfelt moment we’re looking forward to seeing.
It could be anything, but we thing Vanessa will be upset hearing about Anita’s illness and she’ll run to Joey.
She’ll make him worry that someone attacked her, but she’ll be fine and want him to help Leslie fund the free clinic.
Anita’s illness strikes close to home as she’s friends with the family and she can’t imagine seeing her friends go through this.
So, if Joey can help prevent it and it’ll help give Vanessa peace of mind.
