    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, December 29 reveal Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) gets bad news. Elsewhere, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) score a victory. Plus, the holiday gets tense for one family. Here’s what you need to know.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, December 29: Victory!

    First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Stephanie was less than thrilled when Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) moved in to keep her safe. In fact, she made it clear she and Alex won’t be getting too… close until her father’s back home where he belongs. Well, it looks like they got a bit of a break from Steve’s scrutiny. Teasers say she and Alex get a moment alone. There’s a clip in the weekly where Alex is giving her a gift, so we wonder if this is that moment. We’ll see.

    We assume part of the reason they’re getting this opportunity is thanks to Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). She and Steve are featured in the promo, so it looks like he decided to take a moment for holiday romance. Whether she talked him into this or not, remains to be seen. But we do think someone had to do a hard sell to get him to leave Stephanie’s side right now.

    Elsewhere, Gabi gets bad news from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). We assume Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) sent proof her son is gone. Despite everything, we expect Gabi to be devastated to learn this news. However, will she end up getting another miracle later?

    We don’t buy for a minute Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is dead. This is Vivian, after all. She can show whatever proof she wants, but we all know she loves to forge documents. And she’d be really motivated to make sure no one comes looking for Stefan. Especially Gabi.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, December 29: Holiday drama

    Finally, Christmas with Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) gets tense. She’ll have Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Lucas Horton (Brian Dattilo) by her side to celebrate. However, given the teaser, there might not be much celebrating involved. And we imagine it’ll be Kate that manages to make a mess of the day. She does seem focused on Titan right now, and she’s obviously cooking up some plan to make sure DiMera doesn’t leave Titan’s control.
