‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Y&R may want to take a second look at the chemistry between Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Noah and Audra Still Have Sparks
When Noah and Audra finally came face to face once again at the GCAC, it was easy to see there was still a lingering spark between them.
Some fans took to social media to comment about the obvious attraction between Noah and Audra. When Audra first arrived in Genoa City, we found out there was history between them.
According to Noah, the pair had a very toxic relationship. However, Audra shocked Noah when she confided that she had discovered she was pregnant right before they broke up.
Audra claims that she miscarried, but we have to wonder whether she may have actually ended up giving birth to Noah’s baby.
Now, Noah is in the middle of a torrid affair with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun). Sienna is the wife of Matt Clark, also known as Mitch Bacall (Roger Howarth).
Matt is the longtime enemy of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Noah’s parents don’t seem too thrilled that Noah is with her.
Plus, many viewers aren’t precisely fans of Noah and Sienna’s romance. Tamara Braun and Lucas Adams previously worked together on Days of Our Lives.
Braun played the mother of Adams’ character, Tripp Johnson, and also played Ava Vitali. For some fans who watch both Y&R and DOOL, it’s very jarring to see the two characters being portrayed as lovers.
Admittedly, it’s weird to see. Braun and Adams’ chemistry on DOOL was very mother-and-son-like, so watching them together engaged in passionate smooch sessions on Y&R is icky.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Rory Gibson Has Shown Support for Lucas Adams, Who Took Over the Role of Noah
Not to mention, many fans don’t particularly like the age difference between the two actors. While Audra fans may be few and far between, a romance with Noah may actually redeem her character.
Audra’s friendship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) also humanizes her and softens her up. It would stand to reason that Noah may also bring out a much kinder, gentler Audra.
Interestingly, someone else who wouldn’t mind a Noah and Audra pairing is the man who last played Noah, actor Rory Gibson, who now plays Michael Corinthos on General Hospital.
Gibson has expressed support for Lucas Adams and his former character and is eager to see whether there will be a reunion between Noah and Audra.
The GH actor was recently interviewed by Buzzworthy radio and said,
“I’ve heard nothing but incredible things about Lucas. I haven’t met him, but I hear he’s a great actor and a nice guy.”
Gibson wishes Adams the best of luck on Y&R. He also admitted that one story that he would love to see play out is the potential romance between Noah and Audra.
He said,
“I’m curious to see what happens with Noah and Audra. Zuleyka and I started that, and then it stopped. I don’t think it got fully fleshed out while I was there.”
Gibson concluded, “I’m very curious to see what they’re gonna do with that relationship, and I think it’s going to be some exciting stuff.”
