Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, has issued a desperate plea to see his estranged daughter, “One more time before I die.”
Thomas Underwent Emergency Surgery In the Philippines
Thomas underwent emergency surgery in the Philippines to have his left leg amputated, in what was described as a “life or death procedure.” His foot needed to be removed as there was a massive blood clot in his thigh.
Mr. Markle is deeply heartbroken that his daughter won’t visit him. He and Meghan once shared a powerful bond when she was a kid.
The Duchess of Sussex also once shared on her now-defunct lifestyle blog, “The Tig,” that it was her father who helped her to “find her light.”
Thomas used to drive her to dance classes, even after working a grueling 75-hour week. As a lighting director, Mr. Markle also lit
“My high school musicals so that they felt as grand as a Broadway show.”
He later drove her from audition to audition and put gas in her car as she tried to break into Hollywood.
Meghan also reminisced about
“The Tig” and about fishing trips with her father, and the lessons she learned from him growing up. Where is her gratitude for her father now?
The Duchess also told her readers,
“The blood, sweat, and tears this man invested in my future so that I could grow up to have so much.”
Meghan Has NOT Contacted Her Father
Her team revealed the other day that Meghan had in fact contacted her ailing 81- year- old father. However, Mr. Markle has since disputed her claim that she has “reached out.”
Thomas said that he never received any messages from his daughter. He also said he has deliberately not changed his phone number so Meghan can contact him. He said that he hadn’t heard a word from Meghan since he was admitted to the hospital.
It is so jarring that Meghan is blatantly ignoring her father and showing no regard for him while he’s suffering from poor health.
In contrast, Princess Beatrice, who has every right to be furious with her parents, the former Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, is willing to fogive her parents for their transgressions. And there are many.
They lied about their ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, which prompted King Charles to remove their titles as the Duke and Duchess of York.
However, Princess Beatrice has extended grace toward her exiled parents. She invited them to her daughter, Athena’s, christening, which is surprising considering that their reputations and relationships with most of the the royal family are ruined.
Yet, Meghan’s beef with her father concerns an incident in which Thomas staged pictures for the paparazzi, which is relatively minor in comparison.
Meghan’s shocking lack of concern for her father’s health is nothing new. After her father suffered a heart attack before her wedding to Prince Harry, she wrote a very self-focused message on social media about Mr. Markle and his missing her wedding.
Meghan Is a Total Hypocrite As She’s Done Exactly What She Was Angry with Her Father for Doing
Truthfully, their feud should have been over a long time ago. Any loving daughter would have reconciled with her father by now. Meghan is a total hypocrite, as she’s also arranged paparazzi photos and chased down the media for publicity.
The fact that she’s still estranged from Mr. Markle by choice makes her look selfish, uncaring, and ignorant. The only way Meghan will contact him is to save face and protect her already damaged reputation. Thomas refuses to fit her victim narrative and wouldn’t validate her lies.
She refuses to come to his bedside yet has been more than willing to embrace her mother, Doria Ragland. Meghan was raised for most of her life by her father and can’t even bring herself to pick up the phone to check on him after life -or -death surgery.
One of his doctors commented on how close Mr. Markle was to dying from his illness,
“Had the infection been in the heart, it most likely would have been fatal. He’s doing well, but he is not out of the woods yet.”
