‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers have been hoping there will be a point where Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves)’s controlling selfishness will come to an end.
That could be coming now that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has been abducted and dumped in the DiMera family crypt.
Of course, in the short term this will push Jennifer to go harder in the paint to steal Chad’s kids.
She’s managed to encourage and corrupt Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher)’s view of Chad. That’s funny considering she’s also professing hope that Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) is shielded from her antics.
It was never more evident than when Charlotte wished for Chad to be at dinner and Thomass wished he wouldn’t be.
No one, especially Jennifer, responded authoritatively in anyway to him. She did her standard pout instead and didn’t comfort Charlotte.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers are curious how long it’ll take Thomas to miss Chad. For a while, he’ll pretend he’s not upset.
At some point, he’ll start to wonder where Chad is and why he isn’t coming at all.
This will play into Jennifer’s stance perfectly, and if we weren’t convinced she’s not abducting the DiMeras, we’d wonder if she had Chad kidnapped.
She’ll comfort him as best she can. The key could be Charlotte.
She’ll be upset that Chad isn’t around in general and no one can find him. Eventually, she’ll upset Thomas and he’ll lash out.
He’ll proclaim he’s glad Chad isn’t there while crying and that will start his turn.
Thomas will regret his wish, and that will force the adults to be adults and might even trigger Jennifer to become self aware and admit she mostly caused the tension.
Assuming the kids can be kids. They did act like Stepford children for a while with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Jennifer loses her grip
If Thomas starts to miss Chad and regret what he did, there’s a good chance he won’t buy into what Jennifer’s selling.
Especially when she digs in every time she sees Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).
We hope Jennifer accepts that she’s way more to blame for this than Cat, but until then it’ll all be Cat’s fault for Jennifer trying to steal Chad’s kids.
This is going to be a tricky storyline to see play out. There is the possibility Jack Deveraux (Mathew Ashford) and Jennifer will try to look after the kids until Chad turns up.
That, at least, makes sense given they’re the grandparents. But it’ll also mean they’ll have to deal with two hurt, possibly unruly children who miss their father and blame Jennifer.
It’ll also make Jennifer and Jack one of the enemies of the DiMeras once they’re reunited, and no piousness in the world will save Jennifer then,
Careful what you wish for, Jennifer, you just may get it.
