‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for our first trip of the week through Fairmont Crest.
We’ve brought plenty of snacks and spoilery goodies for the episode for Monday, December 1.
Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) won’t let Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely) push judgement on her after a client outs Vanessa as the head of Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom)’s escort service.
It’ll become heated between the two friends, with Dani choosing to call her ‘madam’ after Vanessa tosses ‘pimp’ back at her.
It won’t stop there as we suspect Joey will incite her further when he’ll try to tell her he warned her. Looks like they’re heading toward their first lover’s spat.
Speaking of Joey, it looks like Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) will share some startling news with Smitty Smith (Mike Manning).
He’ll explain how Joey has damaging information on him that basically gives Joey all the power.
We expect this will be about Martin killing the one attack two years earlier, but that won’t matter to Smitty.
That secret’s out and dealt with within the family, and he’ll move to protect Martin. We think he’ll choose to do an expose on Joey’s network.
That will make things really interesting, especially since it includes some of the police and Smitty’s cousin in law Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges)’s father and chief of police, Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik).
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Monday, December 1: Vanessa’s warpath
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers love how complex Vanessa and Joey’s relationship is. It’s obvious he truly cares for her and is supportive of her.
But he did tell her that his business wasn’t for everyone and there were difficulties she couldn’t imagine.
We’re sure stumbling across evidence Joey had her husband killed is one. In this case, it’ll be the backlash he warned her that would come.
Vanessa won’t mind being outed by a client, but having Dani go judgmental on her will be a bit much. And when she tells Joey about it and he redoubles his warning, she’ll lose it.
At least he’s great at staying calm and helping her through the tough spots. Though this could be a little tougher than he’s used to.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Monday, December 1: Smitty targets Marcel
A week or so ago, Elon wanted to let Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) go packing into his retirement. He’s too quick with his mouth, has gotten sloppy, and causes Elon all sorts of headaches.
But Joey wanted him to stick around to do some more clean up work for him.
Martin will tell Smitty that Joey is the force behind eliminating the second attacker a couple months back.
As an unwilling accomplice, Martin can’t do anything to break away from Joey’s power. So, Smitty will go back to digging up dirt on Marcel.
It makes sense since he’s the one that killed Kenny (Jason Vendryes) and even Vanessa’s husband Doug McBride (Jason Graham).
They don’t know that, but Smitty will do his investigative journalist thing.
This could make things worse for Martin, but since he didn’t know what Joey was going to do, it could shield him legally.
Now, if Joey comes knocking and looking for Smitty, that’s a whole other story.
