‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevy) miraculous resurrections have yet to be explained to the GH audience.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt Was Supposedly Killed by The Hook, Nathan Was Shot by Cesar Faison
Fans really want to know how exactly Britt survived being attacked by “the Hook” and dying in her mother’s arms.
Nathan was shot to death by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), who also appears to be alive somehow. Despite his brain being in a jar on Kevin Collins’s (Jon Lindstrom) desk, he’s most likely still alive.
Faison may even have orchestrated Britt’s survival of “The Hook,” and it’s possible he was behind it altogether. We saw the lifeless body, but it was likely staged somehow.
Britt has been back since July and still hasn’t told anyone how she managed to stay alive. Not even Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) knows how or why she faked her death.
The villain is nothing short of a mastermind, so perhaps he also arranged to shoot Nathan and transport his body somewhere for seven years.
Now, Nathan has returned with seemingly no memory of what happened during his time away from Port Charles.
It’s sort of an odd Days of Our Lives, Melaswen Island scenario. Of course, longtime ‘DOOL’ fans know that Melaswen is New Salem backwards.
In the summer of 2004, all the characters from ‘DOOL’ were killed by Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), of all characters, who was the infamous Salem Stalker. Kind of like “the Hook.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: A ‘DOOL’ Melaswen Island Scenario?
Yet, it turned out they had all been drugged, switched with doppelgangers, and whisked away to a tropical island.
The writers of ‘DOOL’ apparently lost their minds in 2004. They killed all the characters, then decided to take it all back. Hence, the supposedly deceased characters all ended up on a tropical island.
Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) gave birth to JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) while she and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) were falling off cliffs.
As weird as that sounds, it’s not much weirder than whatever is happening on GH these days. Britt was dying of Huntington’s disease, for which there is no cure.
She has access to a make-believe miracle medication that appears to be slowing down the progression of the illness. The medicine has magically put her character into remission.
Britt had planned to leave Port Charles to protect her loved ones from watching her die or having to care for her during the final stages of the disease.
However, when saving Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) from “the hook,” Britt suffered a fatal cut, She went back to the Haunted Star, where her birthday party was held. Then, Britt supposedly tragically passed away in her mother, Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) arms.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Faison MUST Be Alive-Nothing Else Makes Sense
Nathan, who died in the hospital after Faison pulled the trigger on his own son, suddenly returns without any explanation other than that he doesn’t remember what happened.
We are willing to bet money that Cesar Faison is alive somehow and has captured his longtime obsession, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Faison must be pulling the strings. Nothing else makes sense. Not that any of it is particularly logical anyway.
Maybe Faison arranged for the poisonous substance to leave her temporarily comatose, and she eventually woke up. Then she was forced into this shady cold-fusion research situation.
What we do know is that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is threatening to withhold Britt’s life-sustaining medicine if she doesn’t cooperate.
Britt is now working with Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard). Some fans have suggested that Nathan’s resurgence could be like a Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) scenario.
So far, GH writers have not been transparent about how Britt and Nathan have managed to survive their demises. Plus, why was Britt acting so bizarre around Nathan? Inquiring minds want to know. Regardless, GH has some explaining to do.
