‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers suggest that Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) is out of control. At this point, we’re unsure of how much longer the adults in Rachel’s life can allow her behavior to continue.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Rachel Gave Thomas The Bright Idea To Use A Catapult To Launch A Pumpkin At Cat
In the November 3rd episode of DOOL, the Salemites were gathered at Horton Square in Halloween costumes, enjoying the festivities.
Rachel talked Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) into using a catapult to launch a pumpkin at Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord). Rachel needs a new target since she’s driven away all her father, Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf), girlfriends.

The last woman Brady dated, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), ran from town screaming after Rachel conspired with her grandmother, Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle), to hold her hostage at Aremid to keep her away from Brady.
Now, she’s giving Thomas advice on how to keep Cat away from his father, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). For weeks, she’s been acting out and helping Thomas chase Cat out of Chad’s life.

We applaud Chad’s parenting skills for not letting his son get away with his shenanigans, but Brady needs to do something about his spoiled brat of a daughter.
While an unknown assailant in a white coat wielded a knife in the middle of Horton Square, the real threat and danger came from the pumpkin Rachel and Thomas unleashed on their unsuspecting victim: Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

At least Chad forced Thomas to apologize to Alex for the projectile pumpkin incident. Chad was being a good parent.
Brady somehow thinks that grounding the holy terror that is Rachel will motivate her to change. She won’t change unless he takes this more seriously. The speed at which that pumpkin was traveling could have seriously injured or even killed someone.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kristen Shouldn’t Have Gone To Prison To Save Rachel
Of course, Rachel’s grandfather, Stefano DiMera (Joe Mascolo), would have been so proud. While Halsey is a brilliant and compelling young actress, she’s being written as a sociopath.
Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) may have also made the wrong decision when she went to prison to protect Rachel. She sacrificed her freedom in a misguided attempt to shield Rachel from further trauma.

As we predicted, Rachel’s behavior has only increasingly worsened since her mother went to Statesville for a crime Rachel committed.
Rachel desperately needs discipline, and we don’t see Brady’s temporary solution of grounding his daughter as cutting the mustard.
After Brady scolded Rachel for her careless actions, he took her inside the Brady Pub for dessert. Rachel even had the opportunity to watch the chef make cheese omelets.

Kristen and Brady have been coddling Rachel for too long, and while we empathize with Kristen’s motherly instinct to protect her child, Rachel is clearly spiraling.
This girl needs a serious mental health intervention before she hurts herself or someone else. At first, we understood that Rachel had been traumatized by the night she shot her uncle, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
However, at some point, she’s going to need serious help. We think she may be at that point now. She claims not to remember pulling the trigger.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Marlena Needs To Tell Brady The Truth
Yet, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) should either tell Rachel the truth and help her work through her trauma, or Kristen needs to fess up the truth to Brady so that he can stop solely blaming Kristen and vilifying her for the way Rachel turned out.
Rachel will never learn how to behave appropriately unless both parents accept responsibility and try to teach their daughter right from wrong. Unfortunately, Rachel is too busy teaching Thomas how to be devious and get away with murder!

We always can always count on Brady to scold Rachel, then take her out for an ice cream sundae. Kristen’s solution is to cover for her unruly child. We know it’s been hard on Rachel with her mother in prison, but for Pete’s sake.
We think Marlena keeping the secret about Rachel shooting EJ is partly to blame for Rachel’s sense of entitlement.
Rachel will continue to repeat her mistakes, and her behavior won’t improve until the child is told the truth and finally gets the help she needs.
