‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers suggest that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) may try their hand at different partners before their inevitable reconciliation.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sarah Claims She Doesn’t Love Xander Anymore
First, let’s not forget that Xander still loves Sarah with all his heart, but Sarah has declared that she’s fallen out of love with Xander.
Truthfully, Sarah wishes she didn’t love Xander, but if he were to cozy up to someone else, she might sing a different tune.
We think Sarah will be the one to move on first. Eric Martsolf admitted to Soaps.com that his character, Brady Black, will “swim right in” and take full advantage of Sarah’s current disdain for Xander.
After all, Brady has long wanted a “stable love.” He’s especially tried to move past his toxic connection to Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk), who is actually in prison right now.
Also, his daughter, Rachel Black (Alice Hasley), seems intent on driving a wedge between her father and any woman Brady tries to date. Somehow, she likes Sarah, though.
Rachel basically ran poor Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) out of Salem. She and Brady had feelings for each other.
Unfortunately, Rachel and her grandmother, Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle), kidnapped Ava to keep her away from Brady.
She eventually felt there was nothing left for her in Salem and skipped town last April shortly after EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerreigel) was shot. Ironically, little Rachel was the one who shot him.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Brady Obviously Has A Crush On Sarah
Additionally, Brady obviously has a crush on Sarah. Sarah is really the only woman whom Rachel would accept in Brady’s orbit other than her mom.
We can see Brady already swooping in to help Sarah pick up the pieces after her failed marriage to Xander.
That said, we can see that Xander is truly trying to turn his life around. However, there is only so much rejection a man can take.
We can maybe see him gravitating toward Gwen Rizczcech (Emily O’Brien). When Gwen first arrived in town, Xander and Sarah were separated, and he and Gwen hooked up.
They went back to Gwen’s hotel room, but poor Xander is so hopelessly devoted to Sarah that he couldn’t go through with spending the night with Gwen.
However, Gwen accepts him. Gwen has never judged Xander as harshly as Sarah has. While Sarah has encouraged Xander to be a better man, she’s also pushed him away because he’s not good enough.
We could see Xander taking comfort in Gwen’s arms for a while if Sarah starts spending more time with Brady.
Also, we can even see Xander sharing a steamy night in bed with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). If, for some reason, Xander and his brother, Philip Kiriakis (John Paul Laviosier), found out that Gabi betrayed them, it may be Philip who turns his back on Gabi.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Gwen Of Gabi Could Provide Xander With A Temporary Distraction
Yet, Xander understands what it’s like to make mistakes. He may discover it’s easier for him to empathize with Gabi if Philip abandons her.
Plus, a while back, Gabi planted a sexy smooch on Xander at the Bistro. Xander didn’t exactly seem to mind.
Furthermore, if Xander and Gabi hooked up while Philip was still sleeping with her, it would create so much soapy drama.
Remember, right now, Sarah has decided that Xander is pure evil and wants nothing to do with him. Xander may seek affection elsewhere if Sarah continues to play the self-righteous card with him.
We wouldn’t blame Xander for becoming romantically involved with someone like Gwen or Gabi. Sarah seems quite content to hang around with Brady for now.
Plus, Sarah did kiss Brady to retaliate against Xander for kissing Gabi. We can see these two gravitating toward others before they realize they belong together.
Also, if Sarah is going to act all high and mighty, Xander needs to remind her exactly what she’s throwing away.
Xander is genuinely trying to change, and he’s even decided to continue his therapy with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) without Sarah by his side.
Xander’s continued sessions with Marlena demonstrate a very mature, responsible, and wise departure from his dark past. It shows his strength and character growth.
Sadly, she’s also vowed to keep Xander away from his young daughter. Sarah may ultimately come to regret her decision.
November sweeps are coming soon, and there are bound to be some major surprises. We think Xander deserves someone who can embrace him for the flawed but lovable man that he is.
