‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers haven’t been the biggest fan of the show’s new writers. There’s too much trying to emulate Ron Carlivatti and creating chaos instead of letting it flow.
Now, they’ve put Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) in a position where she’s going to destroy Victor Kirkiakis (John Aniston)’s company and legacy.
Why?
She said it’s because she wanted Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) to be open and honest with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
Okay, but she chooses now when Titan is barely hanging on by a thread and right after she stated how they needed to come together as a family?
There’s only one answer: Power. She wants to rule it all.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: She had a taste of power
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers are set to hit the rewind button a couple of years, back before Xander was running things.
Thanks to some forged documents, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) thought he was Victor’s heir.
But before that, he was in a constant war with Maggie and it was all one sided. He made some missteps, but she labeled him chauvinist and railed at him every chance she got.
She didn’t want to share, and when he took over Titan she wasn’t happy, though she was powerless to stop him.
Now, with Xander admitting he attacked Phillip Kirkiakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), she sees another opportunity.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Xander never tarnished Victor’s legacy
To be perfectly clear, Xander is the only Kiriakis member involved who never tarnished Victor’s legacy.
Sarah, Maggie, Phillip, and Alex all kept the secret of Phillip’s forged documents (history repeats?) from him.
They all dumped on Victor’s memory and are now legally culpable for hiding fraud.
So, now we think Maggie wants to have Xander thrown in prison so she can assume control. She can argue it all she wants, but there really is no other reason. Not out of the blue with Titan barely hanging on.
Her bringing it up was premeditated, and she’ll try to get the rest of the family to let Xander take the fall. She may even urge Phillip to go down since he’s the main culprit.
Since all of them will go to jail, she’ll channel some DiMera energy to buy off the right people to keep that from happening.
Afterall, it’ll be hard for her to run the company from prison for her part in hiding the forgery. Unless she and the others get a slap on the wrist while Xander’s locked away.
It’s a plan Victor would be proud of, though he’s probably also spinning at warp twenty.
