Bravo Spy Games news aired back on January 20th, and here I call myself the first episode up on the tea and I forgot all about it! Fortunately, in this day and age of technology, most TV networks have an app where you can stream content after it’s aired, which is what I did with Spy Games. Thanks, Bravo! Although I will tell you right now if it’s been a while since any of you used the bravo app you might need to re-link it to your service provider unless you want to use a credit. I forgot to do that and ended up using one of my handy dandy free bravo credits. Whoops. Oh well.

The first episode was a brief rundown about what the show was about, and then the contestants got a mission. Their mission was to infiltrate a black-tie gala and get a phone number from one of the guests there. Sounds easy enough, right? For some, it definitely sounded easier than it looked. In spite of how clear the game makers made it, it looks like there were a couple of contestants who were not really clear on what the word ‘infiltrate’ meant. By definition, the word Infiltrate means: to enter or gain access to (an organization, place, etc.) surreptitiously and gradually, especially in order to acquire secret information.  The two that were specifically guilty of not knowing the definition was, Dr. Mitch Abrahms, and Nika Nour.

Nika decided that in order to impress one of the guests at the gala how happened to be a gym owner by planking. This drew a lot of unnecessary attention to herself. The goal with infiltration is to get in, convince the guests that you belong there, get what you came for and then get out. It’s not to ‘become one of the guests’ which I suppose is what they thought they were supposed to do. The same goes for Dr. Mitch Abrahms, but he added to his fatal flaw. Not only did was he kind of loud and drew attention to himself but he allowed girls to take and post pictures of him on social media.

“Where are those pictures now?” he was asked, which, in all honesty, he could not answer. Sure they could have still been on those girls’ phones, but they are probably out there in the social media sphere somewhere and his face is plastered everywhere. The assignment was not to get into the black-tie affair and then network as you would at a Hollywood party, the goal was to infiltrate a situation without being detected. These two failed hard. Nika managed to talk her way out of being eliminated because she said she was going to take what she learned this week and apply it to next week, which I think garnered a lot of weight with the judges.

However, Mitch thought that he offered experience, being a doctor at a prison, and poise. Again, that word, I don’t think you’re using it correctly. Mitch had all the posse of a college Frat Boy on a Friday night, calling for young models to take selfies with him and asking for their numbers. That was kind of creepy but I understand that it wasn’t his intention to be creepy, it was just to blend in and he thought by standing out, he would blend in, but that didn’t work out too well and he got to eliminate. Loud and popular loses the game, people, remember that. So what’s going to happen now that Chantel’s dossier has been stolen? Stay tuned!!!
