‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) may be the one to rescue Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) from captivity in Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) basement.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ric Got A Taste Of His Own Medicine
Ric has been getting a hefty dose of his own medicine. Decades ago, Ric kidnapped Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and held her captive in a panic room with the intention of stealing her baby.
During the week of October 13th to 17th, the weekly GH preview video showed Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) speaking to someone unseen at Bobbie’s, and she announced that she’s going to find her father.
The story Ava Jerome (Maura West), Alexis, and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) concocted was that Ric was attending a digital detox, had turned his phone off, and couldn’t be reached.
Ric will have a dream about the love of his life, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). It looks like while that’s happening, Cody will be walking adorable Outback outside and suddenly hear a piercing, desperate scream.
He comes across a basement, and Cody exclaims, “What the hell?” Cody isn’t the type of guy who would sense someone is in trouble and ignore it.
Cody has his share of flaws, but he has a heart of gold. He obviously cares about people. Plus, he took in Outback and obviously adores the mischievous little dog.
Additionally, when Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was being held captive at Ferncliff and being drugged out of her mind, Cody was the one who saved her.
He ended up saving her life because the evil Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) and her own greedy mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), almost killed her.
Cody definitely has the strong, stoic, heroic aspect to his personality. We can’t imagine Ric screaming for help and Cody walking past that without investigating.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cody’s Heroic Actions Could Win Molly’s Heart
We have to wonder whether Molly is with Cody when this occurs, and whether she hears her father’s cries and asks Cody to find out where the voice is coming from.
No doubt, if Cody rescues Ric, he’ll instantly win over Ric’s stamp of approval when it comes to Molly dating Cody.
However, if Cody finds Ric and sets him free, he’ll also earn the wrath of Ava, Alexis, and Kristina.
Ric dared to double-cross Ava, and she responded by hitting him over the head with an ornamental object, which happened to be Alexis’s favorite.
Ric and Ava were blackmailing Alexis over a crime Kristina committed, in which she almost killed Ric, yet intended to kill Ava.
Ava and Ric forced Alexis to embezzle money from little Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) inheritance and pay them off.
In exchange, Ric and Ava would keep quiet about what Kristina did. They were essentially partners in crime. However, the two of them had a falling out.
Ric took Ava’s money and purchased bonds that he intended to cash in on. Ava was livid when Ric explained this to her.
They took Ric to Alexis’s basement and made sure he couldn’t escape. Their plan was for the bonds to mature so they could get back the money Ric took.
It’s going to be interesting to see what happens when Cody has the opportunity to play the hero and win Molly’s heart.
We’re rooting for Cody and Molly. They are a cute couple, and we’re excited to see how this plays out.
