First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Ari Horton (Marissa Reyes) is sworn to secrecy by Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis). After that phone call to her mom, we can assume Ari either finds out about Holly’s plan to leave Salem, or Holly shares with her because she needs someone to talk to. And Holly won’t want anyone to know what she’s considering.
By anyone, you know that means she especially doesn’t want Tate Black (Leo Howard) or Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) in particular to know. We don’t blame her on that. But either there is a leak, or he realizes something is wrong. Other teasers for the day say Tate tries to find Holly. We’ll see if he does and if he convinces her not to leave town. Personally, we feel like Holly will end up staying at the last minute.

Elsewhere, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) lends Johnny and Chanel a hand. It would make sense if Johnny shared what happened with Rafe, since they were so close Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney) called Rafe to spend time with Johnny when he was struggling before his Salem return. And this choice should lead to some interesting developments.
See, Rafe knows about the DNA test and the drama around what Sophia might be hiding about her baby/the pregnancy. Sure, the tests didn’t match, but that doesn’t mean it’s not Sophia’s baby. It’s just not Tate’s. And given her proximity to Holly, the drama between them, and the unexplained letter of lies, it would be logical think Sophia is, in fact, the Fire House baby’s mother and she’s holding a grudge.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, October 8: Pieces of the puzzle
Finally, Sarah manages to figure something out. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that this is likely the idea Tate is not Sophia’s baby daddy. She knows Sophia gave birth earlier than said, that she claimed to leave the baby in the safe haven area, and what gender the baby really is. So, with learning the DNA didn’t match Tate, she now knows Sophia’s lying about even more. She’ll confront Sophia either in this episode, or later in the week about this turn of events. And we expect Sophia to give the big panic reaction like she usually does. Whether she’ll admit someone else is, in fact, the father remains to be seen.
