‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers suggest that Phyllis Summer (Michelle Stafford) may cause chaos at Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damian) and Christine Blair’s upcoming nuptials.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Fans May Be Treated To A “Cake Catfight”
We all know that Phyllis is a firecracker and may not be able to resist making trouble for Danny and Christine on their wedding day.
Perhaps we may even be treated to an epic catfight, or better yet, an old-fashioned cake catfight like legendary rivals, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) had at Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) and Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) wedding in 2009.
Even Phyllis’s son, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Grazadei), has embraced Christine as his stepmom. However, Phyllis may be determined to squash “the bug” at all costs.
Another possibility is that Phyllis crashes the reception and delivers a sarcastic toast. We also have to wonder if Daniel ends up bringing his crush, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), as a date.
If his mom causes a disturbance at the wedding, it could compromise Daniel’s night with Tessa and their blossoming “situationship.” Phyllis tends to never let anything go, so it’s highly probable she’ll show up on Christine’s big day somehow.
About a month ago, Christine asked Daniel to keep his mother away from the ceremony. After decades of being apart, Danny and “Cricket” are about to solidify their love and become husband and wife again.
Danny and Christine have quite the love story. They met in 1984 when Cricket was a model, and she had an enormous crush on rock star Danny.
The two of them became close, but their relationship didn’t evolve into a romance until 1986. Throughout the years, Christine and Danny broke up, made up, and finally found their way back to each other.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Drove A Wedge Between Danny And Christine That Ended In Divorce
The couple was first married in November 1990 in a Hawaiian destination wedding. They were solid as a rock until Phyllis came along and drove a wedge between Christine and Danny, which resulted in their divorce.
Phyllis became pregnant and told Danny he was the father. Naturally, Danny felt he had to take responsibility for his child. Christine was heartbroken.
Danny and Christine eventually rediscovered their true love, and Danny proposed to Christine in July this year. Of course, she was floored.
Christine’s romantic fairy tale wedding could easily turn into a major disaster. Does anyone really expect Phyllis to allow the perfect opportunity to stir up trouble to pass her by? We think not.
We all know that Phyllis is relentless. She’s finally made peace with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), but she’d never go for a truce with Christine. Not in a million years.
Spoilers also indicate that the separate parties that Christine and Danny will have should also be quite interesting.
Danny will have a guys’ night, and Christine will get together with some of her favorite “gal pals” and have a bridal shower.
Both parties are said to take a shocking turn, and we think Phyllis may be the reason. You can bet that Phyllis will no doubt pull a crazy stunt that sets Christine off.
No matter what, there will be some soapy drama that takes place and possibly even an epic showdown between Christine and Phyllis.
