Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) was finally ready to move on in her relationship with Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle).
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers Tuesday, September 30: Kat Deals with Tomas’ Betrayal; After Losing Smitty’s Trust, Martin Finally Looks to Set up Boundaries
She listened to Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) as urged her to offer peace and friendship.
Her reward was to be stubborn and see peace through until Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) came out of the shower.
Something is going to hit the fan big time. Maybe Tomas’ parts will be fed to the fan.
While one relationship falters, another has a chance.
Smitty Smith (Mike Manning) has no trust in Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon).
Martin’s lies about running for president and the late night altercation ruined that.
Smitty has been trying, but Martin going behind his back with Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) reopened that wound. So now Martin will look to set boundaries.
About time he stopped letting his views stop at his nose, or is he looking to impost a boundary?
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Tuesday, September 30: Kat’s medicine
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers have been waiting for Eva to repay Kat’s actions in kind, but she always took the high road.
We thought she’d stoop low to show Kat she can play her games as well, but she didn’t.
Tomas believed they were over and we’re sure he’ll point that out when Kat has her meltdown.
To be fair, Kat deserved a lot of things in retribution, but to walk in on Eva and Tomas will be the worst.
Any hopes of peace are done, and we fully expect her to try and ruin Eva any way she can going forward.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Tuesday, September 30: Martin stakes his claim
We’d love to see Martin accept Smitty’s reservations and for the two of them to work on rebuilding their trust.
This may be a step in that direction if Martin is willing to talk with Smitty and set up boundaries. Like as parents communicating about what their kids are doing.
We don’t blame Smitty for being wary, especially after Martin’s previous decisions put their kids in harm’s way.
But what if Martin will be the one setting the boundaries to keep Smitty back?
It’s a stretch, but we can see him trying to turn it around on Smitty. He doesn’t understand Smitty’s trust issues. Whether purposely or he’s that dense we don’t know.
There is a chance he’ll try to reassert himself in their kids’ lives whether Smitty likes it or not, and that could be a huge mistake.
