ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) stars know just how painful it is for their fans to have to wait for the next new episode to air on the ABC network. Because of President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, the popular daytime television show has been pre-empted. The only problem is, no one knows when the next new episode will air. And that’s why the cast of the hit show have decided to reach out to their fans will messages of support. Here’s what you need to know.
Several stars, including Michael Easton (Caleb Morley), Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), and Jophielle Love (Violet Finn) have all shared a new video message for ‘General Hospital’ views. “Hey guys!” the little girl begins. Easton steps in to announce, “We just got done filming an upcoming episode of ‘General Hospital’.” Then Hughes adds, “We thought it was the perfect time to thank you for watching.”

Michael then added, “Make sure you follow all our social channels to get updates on the return of new episodes.” If that weren’t enough, the cast also did a short video showcasing all of the legacy families in Port Charles. They mention how much love they have for one another and that together, they can get through anything. “The miracles that I have seen here far outweigh the losses,” Bobbie tells Brad and Carly, “We can’t give in to the fear. We have to lean in… to hope.” And as Sonny declares at the end, “God bless General Hospital.” So, in other words, hang on to your hats, folks. Hopefully the impeachment will be over before you knot it and everyone can go back to watching their favorite soaps on a regular schedule again.
