‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that during the week of September 15th to 19th, Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will ask for her mother, Paulina Price Carver’s (Jackee Harry) help.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Chanel Asks Paulina To Help Her Move Up The List To Adopt Tesoro
Chanel wants to be put at the top of the list for potential adopters for Tesoro. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has finally agreed to revisit the idea of starting a family.
Now that Tesoro is about to be up for adoption, Chanel sees no reason to wait any longer. However, Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) recently expressed his hesitation.
He confided in Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) that he’s having difficulty with the thought of giving up the little guy. Steve and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) are investigating Sophia’s story.
We now know that’s because of his past experience. Javi once had a daughter who tragically died. The mother of his child left their daughter in the car, exposed to the sweltering heat.
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) was supportive and compassionate with his partner when Javi told him. We wouldn’t expect anything less. Leo also loves Tesoro.
Neither Leo nor Javi wants to lose him. We suspect it would be very traumatic for Javi to let go of the baby. We suspect that a major custody war for Tesoro is brewing.
Interestingly, Johnny and Chanel were thinking of adopting Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) baby until Johnny learned that he was conceived through the rape of his mother.
Years ago, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerreigel) forced Johnny’s mom, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeny), to have sex with him in exchange for saving Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) life.
Once Johnny learned the circumstances surrounding his conception, he feared that he might become like his father, EJ.
Johnny backed out of the adoption, which left Chanel heartbroken. It took a long time for Johnny to change his mind.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Several Characters Have Fallen In Love With “Little T”
Several characters have fallen for Tesoro. It would be a tough scenario if a custody fight for “little T” ensued.
We also have a feeling that once Tate finds out his son is right there in Salem, he may also decide to fight for custody.
Or, Sophia could even change her mind. That said, no one suspects that Tesoro belongs to Tate and Sophia yet.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) recently conducted a DNA test on the child, so we’ll have to see how that plays out.
If the DNA sample doesn’t show a match for Tate, that means he’s not really the father. There is much speculation that a major plot twist is in the works, and Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) is really the father.
Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) wouldn’t even need to lift a finger to tamper with the results. Sophia has proven herself to be a liar, but we did feel sorry for her when she had to give birth alone in her room.
Regardless, even if Leo and Javi decided to pursue adoption, there are too many misdeeds in Leo’s past that could prevent them from succeeding.
Leo delivered Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) baby and knowingly allowed Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) to claim the child as her own.
Chanel and Johnny have a better chance of adopting Tesoro. Plus, they would no doubt let Javi and Leo see the baby sometimes, as they adore Tesoro and have taken good care of him.
Javi and Leo may realize that Tesoro would be going into a good home. Yet, it would still be heartbreaking to see Leo and Javi have to give up the little boy they fell in love with.
