Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, September 8: Busted
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) find another reason to flip out. Obviously, this is about the bug Xander found in that pen. We assume Xander will be suspicious as always and place the blame on Philip. However, we think it won’t take long for Philip to remember Gabi DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) being in the office. He might even recognize the pen as the one Gabi was using.
Which should lead to this other teaser for the day. Gabi keeps trying to outmaneuver Xander and Philip. She’ll have a tough task ahead of her. Xander has been so on edge, he’s not going to trust anyone for a minute, including her. And if Philip does mention her being in the office, it’ll just make any attempt on Gabi’s part to defend herself that much harder.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, September 8: Venting
Elsewhere, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is all ears as Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) vents about her problems. This must be about her family. While Jack was basically kind to her, he also clearly is disappointed and doesn’t approve of her actions. Gwen seemed genuinely hurt by that and probably thinks there is never going to be room for her in that family. We understand her desire for connection to the father she never knew growing up. However, we think Gwen really needs to move on and focus on building other connections that will likely be better for her.

Speaking of Jennifer and Jack, they get news that puts them on edge. The most obvious answer we can think of is that Chad is considering Cat Greene’s (AnnaLynne McCord) words about her brother. Considering Jack and Jennifer just told him they sent a letter wanting parole denied, Chad not fighting a release would not go over well.

Finally, Chad receives an apology from Cat. We guess this will be related to that conversation about her brother. Not to mention his chat with the former in-laws. They’re really doing everything possible to get in the way of this pairing.
