‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers confirm that Lucas Adams, who played Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) son, Tripp Johnson, on Days of Our Lives, will join Y&R as Noah Newman.

Noah is a legacy character who several actors have portrayed. Noah is the son of Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Rory Gibson, who now plays Michael Corinthos on General Hospital, was the last actor to tackle the role.
In an ironic twist of events, Robert Adamson, who occasionally filled in as Michael on GH, also played Noah at one point.
Interestingly, Adams will soon be reunited with his former Days onscreen mother, Tamara Braun, who is set to also arrive in Genoa City soon as a new mysterious character named Sienna Bacall.
He’ll also reunite with Billy Flynn, who played Chad DiMera, on Days of Our Lives. Now, Flynn is tackling the challenging role of billionaire mogul, Cane Ashby.
TV Insider recently broke the news. Adams has also played on Y&R before. His first appearance was as a bit player named Wesley in 2012.
Adams landed the role of Tripp on Days of Our Lives in 2017, and his character became a doctor. He was seen on the Peacock soap on and off until 2024 when his character left for Hong Kong with love interest, Wendy (Victoria Grace).
During his time on Days, he earned back-to-back Daytime Emmy nominations as Outstanding Younger Actor.
Noah on Y&R moved to London, where he established a career in the nightlife scene. He was last onscreen in 2023.

The character also had a crush on Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), who was married to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), and shared a complex romantic history with resident bad girl, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
He later embarked on a relationship with Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) granddaughter, Allie Abbott (Kelsey Wang). Noah and Allie left Genoa City together to start an exciting new chapter in their lives.
In addition to soaps, fans may recognize Adams from the Disney Channel sitcom “Liv and Maddie,” which aired from 2015 to 2017.
He’s also made appearances on shows like True Blood, School of Rock, Dexter, and The Thundermans. Adams also found love while working on the show, “Liv and Maddie.”
He met actress Shelby Wulfert on the set of the Disney sitcom. They started dating in October 2015 and were married in his home state of Texas in October 2022.
Adams is stepping into the role of Noah Newman just as Mariah’s marriage to Tessa is crumbling, and Audra is now a free agent after Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) broke up with her.
Mariah is hiding a deep, dark secret that she refuses to tell Tessa. Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braden) made a deal with Audra to fund her cosmetics company, Vibrante, in exchange for her seducing Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) away from his lady love, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).
The deal was quickly killed off when Audra failed to hold up her end of the deal, as Kyle was onto her and Victor from the get-go. Throwing Noah into the mix should be interesting.
